1. Feelings |
||
They tug your soul they bring you
down Suck you dry they tear apart and make you cry Sometimes you can't place them they are indefinable You hate them, but then again you enjoy them to the full Feelings all your weaknesses but also you strengths Are hidden inside your feelings Let them run their own course They are a powerful force They are with you every day They guide you like a pilot his plane They show you the way But there are moments when you try to take your feelings In your own hands, And if you're not careful You find you will crashland |

2. America |
||
You are so oppressive and
contradictive You promise, but fall You have a dream Of how you'd like to be But you're only fooling yourself You never will be free Your idealism nearly kills you You gasp for air You're killed by what you are This dream you have will never come true by then it will be too late America, land of the unlimited oppertunities Everything is unlimited, or is it? The limit has already been passed Oh land of the oppertunities You never had a dream |

3. Born Free |
||
Man is a social creature he needs societies, social affection It's exactliy this affection which constricts him from birth A child cannot feed itself, cannot survive alone Man is dependent on others unknowingly till death Can ones freedom really be called freedom When everyone is dependent on each other Rousseau says: Man is born free yet everywhere he is in chains Man is born free yet everywhere he is in chains You have the freedom to marry which ever person you want But submit to the system by signing the marriage-contract You have the freedom to buy the latest radical record But again you submit to the system when the shop profits from you Rousseau says: Man is born free yet everywhere he is in chains Man is born free yet everywhere he is in chains |
